Food for Health

There are so many different diets that people like to try but in my experience if we follow our Dosh- balancing diet we will experience good health. Ayurveda is not a fad diet but something that has been around for 5000 years and has never been altered.

Consideration should also be made as to the food that you are eating in relation to its nutritional quality. If the food you buy is not fresh and is not properly stored the nutritional value will diminish. It is best to buy food that is local to your area and in season. Always eat whole food that you prepare from scratch rather than eating foods that are loaded with preservatives and artificial colouring.

Eat in moderation, go for a well balanced diet and follow good eating practices such as chewing your food well and not eating on the run. Above all enjoy your food and be grateful for what you have. Bon Appetite.
