Stepping out of the darkness into the light

STEPPING OUT OF THE DARKNESS, INTO THE LIGHT. Life can be full of black holes that we can easily fall into. To be part of humanity and be empathetic, we feel and share the pain of others and can feel battered and defeated in our own life. We can't ignore the fact we sit in darkness together with a feeling of heaviness somewhere in our body, feeling helpless and defeated. We speak of joy and finding joy in our lives, but when something that brings joy is taken from us it leaves an empty black hole.
It helps to be in touch with our feelings, where it sits, what it feels like, is it familiar? Tune into the message of our body to know how to respond.
To feel is not to think. To let go of your thinking is to trust. To trust is to have faith. Faith in light arising from the darkness. Faith that this too will pass.
Finding the light within can only come from stillness. Connecting to the light in a given moment. Seeing the beauty and the good. Connecting to the breath, known as prana. Prana is the one breath that connects us all to the source, to one another, and to all there is. Breathe, take the breath into the black hole into the heaviness, and trust. Focus on the breath as a beacon of light to take you out of the darkness. Trust that the light will overshadow the darkness and lighten your heavy load.
Light a candle to keep your focus on the light, not the darkness.
We are all stars in the night sky, shining a light for someone and someone is there shining a light for you.
You are not alone.
One breath - One love.
